Job Title: Big Data Architect

This is a critical role that requires the ability to design and implement data engineering solutions that meet analytical needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in big data environment management, including Cloudera Data Platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain data ingestion and processing jobs.
  • Design and implement data engineering solutions to support business intelligence initiatives.
  • Refine data collection and consumption by migrating data collection to more efficient channels.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure smooth deployment and adoption of new solutions.
  • Ensure the smooth operations and service level of IT solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong SQL, data modeling, and data analysis skills are essential.
  • Hands-on experience in big data engineering using Python, PySpark, Linux, and ETL tools like Informatica.
  • Experience in DevOps deployment and data virtualization tools is an advantage.

This role requires a strong understanding of analytics and data warehouse implementations. You should be able to troubleshoot complex issues ranging from system resources to application stack traces.
