About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee the technical aspects of our container fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our vessels, including managing budgets and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and monitor complex technical operations of ships trading around the globe
  • Ensure that assigned vessels are technically operational and operated within agreed parameters
  • Liaise with classification societies, flag state administrations, and regulatory bodies to ensure vessel compliance
  • Work closely with fleet controlling to manage OPEX and DryDocking budgets
  • Cooperate with QHSE/Marine Department for safety and security matters on board ships

Requirements

  • Motivated and driven individual with technical experience at sea as Chief Engineer followed by years in a Technical Superintendent role ashore
  • Capability of evaluating and monitoring complex technical operations of ships trading globally
  • Strong communication skills allowing seamless interaction among multi-national teams and vessel crews
