Preschool Learning Assistant Position

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Preschool Learning Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for supporting our experienced teachers in planning and delivering high-quality educational programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in designing and implementing lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Provide support during lessons and activities to facilitate children's learning and engagement.
  • Maintain and develop a range of educational resources and toys to enhance the learning experience.
  • Support teachers in preparing student developmental profiles and progress reports.
  • Contribute to daily routines such as meal times, napping times, and administering medication when necessary.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents and the community to promote holistic child development.
  • Collaborate with teachers to produce regular newsletters or class blogs to keep stakeholders informed.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 5 GCE 'O' Level credits, including English and Mother Tongue.
  • 1-2 years of working experience in early childhood settings.
  • Demonstrated strong routine and classroom management skills.
  • Creativity and passion for inclusive preschool education.
  • An enjoyment working with young children.
