Job Summary

JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Development Manager to lead our export market development efforts in the Asia-Pacific region. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing business development strategies, product portfolios, and go-to-market strategies for assigned markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive sales revenue and profitability in assigned markets.
  • Execute new product launches in selected export countries and manage distributor relations.
  • Prepare Annual Operating Plans (AOPs) for assigned countries, factoring cost savings and financial targets.
  • Monitor trade spend and provide sales and volume forecasting on a monthly basis.
  • Cross-functional liaison to ensure all relevant functions are aware of key success factors and issues in export markets.

Requirements

  • University education with a degree in a business-related subject.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of international commercial business experience.
  • Proven track record of defining and implementing sales strategies in different countries.
  • Solid experience in FMCG products and managing distributors.
  • Sound financial understanding and a record of managing a P&L.
