We are seeking a talented Category Strategy Expert to drive our business transformation and accelerate growth in the hearing aid industry.
This role will be responsible for developing and implementing category strategies to improve supply chain efficiencies, ensure resiliency, and reduce the total cost of the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead negotiation and cost-saving initiatives for outsourcing (EMS) of power supplies and accessories.
- Develop and own supplier relationships for strategic initiatives to implement cross-business synergies across a rationalized set of global and regional preferred supplier partners.
- Serve as a Sourcing–R&D–Engineering liaison to ensure visibility and alignment on timelines, target costs, new platforms/technologies, supplier selection, and NPI risk mitigation.
- Develop innovative solutions, forecast category projections, and provide mitigation actions to ensure key procurement metrics are achieved, with a special focus on risk mitigation and supply continuity.
- Evaluate commercial terms to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in category strategy and procurement.
- Familiarity with global market trends and technologies.
