Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to conduct mechanical engineering activities and in-house site surveys for projects, from initial concept definition phase through to; engineering studies, FEED, detailed design and commissioning.

  • Conduct mechanical engineering activities and in-house site surveys for projects.
  • Ensure technical assurance practices, engineering standards, environmental and safety policies are followed.
  • Review technical deviations and variations to approved guidelines,codes, standards and practices.
  • Support the Engineering Department to review, update and apply standards and amendments to external standards.
  • Plan and co-ordinate activities of a team of multidiscipline engineers for providing timely delivery of technical services.
  • Co-ordinate engineering designs, develop and review multi-disciplinary workscopes for projects and other engineering activities.
  • Review and approve method statements developed by contracted organizations for scope compliance.
  • Develop, update and monitor schedules for in-house engineering activities.
  • Conduct evaluation of technical bid packages for scope compliance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
  • Chartered Engineer/Professional Engineer status or equivalent.
  • 10 years of relevant post graduate experience, out of which 6 years should be relatable to Oil and Gas industry.
  • Ability to identify and utilize relevant engineering standards and codes related to Mechanical Engineering (Building Services).
  • Proven ability to manage cost and quality in engineering projects within a multiple project environment.
  • Good communication and presentation skills with fluency in English.
