Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design AuthorityWe are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Authority to lead our team in delivering high-quality mechanical engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of mechanical works from concept to detailed design and provision of QP supervisory works for projects.
  • Endorse authorities' submissions, supervise & apply for certificate of completion as Professional Engineer (Mechanical) for the projects undertaken.
  • Ensure project compliance to local code and authority requirements.
  • Provide technical advice and solutions when working with stakeholders.
  • Carry out project management, planning, financial management of project, contract administration, ensure key deadlines are met and team work together effectively.
  • Liaise with multiple stakeholders for civil & structure, architectural, mechanical and electrical works.
  • Prepare tender documents and specifications.
  • Design management, coordination with contractors, subcontractors and external consultants.
  • Communicate proactively, mentor and guide reporting Engineers and Designers for learning and development.
  • Evaluate the smooth completion of the project within schedule and budget.

Requirements:

  • Minimum degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Registered Professional Engineer with PEB Singapore/Specialized Professional Engineer or.
  • More than 10 years in the industry.
  • Experience in both construction management and design.
  • Proficient in Engineering analysis design software, BIM software, CFD simulations tools and other mechanical/fire engineering software.
