Procurement Director: Woodchip Supply Chain Management



Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our woodchip supply chain management efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sourcing, procurement, and logistics, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to secure premium woodchips for our production needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and competitive pricing.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute strategic plans that meet business objectives.


Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • At least 10 years of experience in physical commodity trading, with a focus on sourcing and procurement.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel and data analysis tools.
