Emergency Medical Services Crew Leader

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Crew Leader to join our team. As an EMS Crew Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of emergency medical technicians and paramedics in responding to emergency situations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency medicine, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. You will be required to make sound decisions quickly and effectively in high-stress situations, while prioritizing patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of emergency medical technicians and paramedics in responding to emergency situations
  • Assess patients' conditions and provide appropriate medical care
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and treatment plans
  • Communicate effectively with other emergency services personnel and hospital staff
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies

Requirements:

  • Paramedic Level III Certificate from SAF/SCDF; OR NYP Diploma in Paramedicine; OR Higher Nitec in Paramedicine; AND BCLS/AED
  • At least 3 years of experience as a paramedic or emergency medical technician
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and make sound decisions quickly
