Job Overview

The Strategic Process Improvement Professional will provide critical support to a leading financial institution. This role involves evaluating process control measures, anticipating business needs, and developing targeted solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analysis of front-to-back control processes to identify areas for improvement and develop strategic solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to review ongoing business processes and develop optimization strategies that align with the organization's vision.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest operational advancements to automate and modernize systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Communicate findings and recommendations through clear, concise reports and presentations to stakeholders.
• Work closely with all stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and validate business requirements for changes to control processes within workshops and working groups.
• Identify, document, and analyze business requirements against risk through process discovery and manage these through to completion or escalation.
• Analyze information collected independently while contributing to the overall team effort.

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of securities settlement processes across multiple products and markets is essential.
• Experience working across finance disciplines or related industries is highly valued.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver process improvements and controls enhancements is required.
• Knowledge of operations businesses/functions in an investment banking environment is beneficial.
• Data analysis and data tracing experience through multiple systems from front to back would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to clearly document findings and proposals for solutions.
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and maintain attention to detail, taking ownership of various project parts.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
