Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead IT Architect, Security Systems to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of IT systems and infrastructure to support engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in sales calls and prospect visits, providing product demonstrations in person and/or via WebEx, and working with prospects at both a technical and business level to show how NCS Engineering can address their business needs.
  • Conduct solution POCs for clients.
  • Design end-to-end IT solutions that encompass applications, infrastructure, data, and security while considering regulatory compliance and industry standards.
  • Possess demonstrable skills in customer-centric selling and a proven track record using it to help drive sales revenue.
  • Lead a team of engineers in the area of CCTV implementation, including security systems.
  • Provide guidance to the engineering team in terms of CCTV trends, including camera technology and AI.
  • Work independently and as a vital member of a sales team.
  • Work with the sales team to strategize on sales approaches to develop business.
  • Ensure successful on-site and remote product evaluations (POCs) and oversee the entire delivery.
  • Able to learn new and emerging technologies in a short turnaround, able to present and solve new and emerging technologies depending on client needs.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and technologies, ensuring that the IT solutions address specific challenges and opportunities.
Requirements
  • > 20 years of experience working in a pre-sales capacity related to CCTV in the security domain.
  • At least 15 years' experience in designing and implementing CCTV systems.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to prioritize and execute in a methodical and disciplined manner. Set and manage expectations with senior stakeholders and team members.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences, including being able to interact with senior executives.
  • History of creating rapport with customers, from line technicians to line and mid-level managers.
