Job Title: High-Performance Cloud Expert

About the Job

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our cloud infrastructure team as a High-Performance Cloud Expert. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available, scalable, and secure cloud-based systems.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency of our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cutting-edge solutions that meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement high-performance cloud architectures using AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lake Formation, Redshift, Athena, and EMR.
  • Manage and maintain large-scale database platforms including RDS, Redshift, EMR, and DynamoDB.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and operations using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions for infrastructure, pipelines, and data workloads.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance and best practices are followed for data protection and cloud resource access.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of experience in cloud operations, with a focus on AWS.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services including S3, Glue, Lake Formation, Redshift, Athena, EMR, IAM, and CloudWatch.
  • Solid hands-on experience with designing and managing Data Lake and big data analytics platforms.
  • Strong experience in managing relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
Preferred Qualifications
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional.
  • AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty or Database – Specialty.
  • Experience with modern data stack tools is a plus.
