Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Network Infrastructure Specialist to manage, maintain and optimize our proxy infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring secure and efficient internet access, web filtering and application delivery across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain web proxy infrastructure (e.g., Blue Coat, Zscaler, Squid).
  • Configure access policies, authentication mechanisms and filtering rules.
  • Monitor proxy performance and availability; troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with security teams to enforce internet usage policies and protect against web-based threats.
  • Perform software upgrades, patch management and regular maintenance of proxy systems.
  • Support integration with authentication systems (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP, SSO).
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve connectivity and access issues.
  • Provide technical documentation and reports on proxy usage and performance.

Requirements:

  • Singaporean citizen required for compliance/security clearance purposes.
  • Based in Singapore with the ability to work on-site as needed.
  • Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure or network operations.
  • Hands-on experience with proxy technologies (e.g., Zscaler, Blue Coat, Squid).
  • Solid understanding of DNS, TCP/IP and firewall concepts.
  • Experience with security and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, MAS TRM).

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with SIEM tools and log analysis.
  • Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.
  • Experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and cloud-based security.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Zscaler Certified Engineer, Blue Coat ProxySG).
