Job Title: Cybersecurity Infrastructure Specialist

Description:
The role of a Cybersecurity Infrastructure Specialist involves providing technical support to client perimeter security infrastructure, encompassing firewalls, proxy servers, and remote access systems. This includes investigating, documenting, and resolving outages to critical business systems caused by these systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Providing support for client perimeter security infrastructure, including firewalls, proxy servers, and remote access systems.
• Investigation, documentation, and resolution of outages to critical business systems caused by firewall, proxy, or remote access systems.
• Escalation of issues to Client engineering teams, vendors, or other technical resource teams.
• Working on incidents or projects beyond the scope of the level 2 team, which may include scheduling multiple changes, software upgrades, or configuration activities to resolve.

Required Skills:
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Experience with tcpdump/pcap/wireshark is required.
• Knowledge of Check Point Secure Platform Pro & Gaia, Juniper SRX, Bluecoat Proxy, Palo Alto Networks firewalls, Juniper SSL VPN appliances, Juniper Netscreen firewalls, Cisco ASA with AnyConnect client is essential.
• Network routing with BGP, Linux/Unix experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical and quantitative capability with attention to detail is required.
• Ability to work in a demanding environment, exhibiting a high degree of flexibility and ability to multi-task, seeking guidance where necessary, and strong verbal and written skills are desired.

Special Skills:

Specialists are required to analyze customer requirements to ensure all standards, policies, and guidelines are upheld from the information security perspective and support routine compliance activities.

Eventually, specialists need to support technology improvements, such as new infrastructure install and hardware/software upgrades, and engineering support.
