Job Overview

As a Science Laboratory Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our science laboratories. Your primary responsibility will be to assist teachers and staff in setting up the laboratories for lessons and science practical examinations.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the setup and maintenance of science laboratories.
  • Procure and prepare materials according to lesson requirements.
  • Schedule laboratory use by classes.
  • Manage dissemination of teaching resources to staff.
  • Catalogue all science resources, including lab inventory and teaching materials.
  • Assist teachers in coordinating and managing science-related programs, such as invigilation of science practical examinations and Science Fairs.
  • Perform occasional tasks related to school gardens, particularly plants relevant to science teaching.
  • Undertake other duties assigned by principal, vice-principal, HOD/Science, or administrative staff as deemed necessary.

Requirements
  • GCE 'N' /'O' level qualifications or equivalent.
  • One year working experience in a science laboratory environment, preferably in a school setting.
  • Good organizational, administrative, and customer service skills.
  • Strong command of English language.

Work Arrangements
This is a part-time position with regular working hours from 7:45 am to 1:45 pm, Monday to Friday. The location is Kaki Bukit & Bedok North. Service is not required on Saturdays, Sundays, or gazetted public holidays.
