Electric Vehicle Technician

We're looking for a skilled Automotive Electrician to join our progressive workshop. This is an exciting opportunity to work on commercial and heavy vehicles, as well as electric vehicles (EVs). As an Automotive Electrician, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive maintenance, repair, and overhaul work on these vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues on commercial and specialized vehicles.
- Meet workshop service standards and complete all work according to job orders.
- Deliver exceptional workmanship while minimizing turnaround time for scheduled repairs and inspections.
Requirements:
- A Class 3 licence is required.
- A NTC 2 or NITEC 2 in Automotive Technology (or equivalent) is necessary.
- Two to three years' experience in automotive repair and service, preferably with exposure to EVs.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematic diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with electrical and electronic components.
- Proficient with diagnostic tools for electrical/technical troubleshooting.
