Job Summary

\

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking for a Quote Engineer who will work closely with Business Development, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to create a winning strategy for new business in all segments.

\

The successful candidate will have experience working closely with customers and internal teams, participate in Quote Strategy / Attend Kick-Off calls, interpret complex Bill of Material structures and provide analysis of the manufacturing process elements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Create Bills of Materials structure with Make/Buy and commodity analysis.\
  • Provide technical support in the review of quotation packages and identify products according to the specified requirements for each customer in relation to quotes.\
  • Review Gerber files and fab drawings for PCBs.\
  • Utilize 3D & 2D modeling and detailing drawing interpretation skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, NX).\
  • Experience working with different commodities such as passives, electromechanical, PCB, mechanical, displays, etc.\
  • Knowledge of different production processes such as machining, die-casting, stamping, injection molding, raw materials, etc.\
  • Conduct detailed technical review of customer documentation as necessary.\
  • Perform data package review for completeness and generate issue lists for discussion with internal & external customers.\
  • Make sound and accurate judgments based on experience and knowledge; interpret detailed and sometimes poorly defined information.\
  • Achieving Success:\
    • \
    • Solid understanding of multi-level Bills of Materials (BOMs)\
    • Familiarity with both electrical engineering and mechanical components\
    • Proficiency in SolidWorks for design and modeling\
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills\
    • Experience working with 3D models and 2D drawings (DWGs)\
    • Familiarity with Gerber files (a plus)\
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities\
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail\
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field\
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role\\
