Cell Analysis Leadership Role

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Biomedical Science, Biochemistry or relevant qualifications and at least 5-6 years of experience in Cytology.

  • Manage and supervise cytology staff including technologists, technicians and support staff.
  • Foster a culture of excellence innovation and teamwork within the department.
  • Oversee technical operations of the cytology department including specimen receipt processing and analysis.
  • Prepare stains mount slides and microscopically study cells from the human body to detect evidence of cancer hormonal abnormalities and other pathological conditions.
  • Perform specialized and complex testing that involves microscopic screening and evaluation of gynaecological and non-gynaecological specimens.
Requirements
  • Certified cytotechnologist by an accredited institution;
  • Biochemistry knowledge and leadership skills are essential for this role.
