This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, patient, and able to work effectively with children aged 5-12 years old. As a Lead Student Care Mentor, you will be responsible for:

  • Executing day-to-day operations in the centre, ensuring the smooth running of programs and activities.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times, providing guidance and supervision as needed.
  • Coaching and testing children for their school spellings, helping them to build confidence and develop their literacy skills.
  • Conducting in-house enrichment curriculum, providing high-quality educational experiences for children.
  • Building positive and respectful relationships with children, fostering good partnerships with parents and caregivers.
  • Managing and guiding children to develop positive habits and mannerisms, helping them to become confident and independent individuals.
  • Planning and organizing holiday activities or special events for children during school holidays, providing fun and engaging experiences that promote social skills and teamwork.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Passion and commitment to working with primary school children, empowering them to reach their full potential.
  • Ability to manage a group of 10 to 18 children using positive management strategies, promoting a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Coaching or guiding skills, able to support children in their academic assignments and provide feedback that promotes growth and development.
  • Good interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and caregivers to achieve common goals.
  • Independent, observant, organized, responsible, and proactive, able to take initiative and solve problems creatively.
  • Open to learning new skills and being trained, committed to ongoing professional development.
  • Minimum GCE 'O' level qualification, with some relevant working experience preferred.
