Job Title: On-Site Machining Professional

This position involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, performing on-site machining tasks with high precision and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will have experience with machinery operations, possess strong analytical skills, and be able to work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform various on-site machining tasks, including flange facing, X-Y milling, boring, and drilling.
  • Lead as a team leader and perform in-situ grinding on crankshaft crankpin, fillet re-grinding & main journal and annealing of crankpin.
  • Interpret customer drawings, dimensions & tolerances and requirements.
  • Prepare and pack tools for the job and arrange transport through SCM department.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Attending VSCC meetings in yards and arranging yard entries when required.
  • Preparing daily site reports with photographs and sending them to the office by end of each day via email.
  • Regularly following up on permits, gate passes, and safety induction and renewing them as they are about to expire.
  • Timely and professionally handling service calls and issues arising from field visits.
Requirements:
  • At least ITE certificate or O' Level.
  • At least 2 years related working experience.
  • Technological knowledge and basic analytical skills in dealing with machining variances.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, handle work professionally, independently, and efficiently.
  • Quality conscious with the ability to meet productivity goals.
