Job Summary:

Our organization seeks a highly skilled professional to provide operational support in implementing work processes within the Medical Records Office. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for managing medical records under strict confidentiality and security, utilizing electronic systems and Microsoft Office programs to support daily operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Primary Responsibilities (80%):
    • Manage medical records with utmost discretion and integrity.
    • Employ electronic systems and Microsoft Office applications to facilitate daily tasks.
    • Assist internal and external stakeholders with medical records-related procedures.
    • Process medical report requests, including cashier functions, efficiently.
    • Foster collaboration with doctors on incomplete requests.
    • Execute administrative duties related to medical reports.
    • Address urgent and challenging cases with professionalism.
    • Retrieve medical records for report writing and duplication purposes.
  • Key Performance Measures:
    • Enhance turnaround time for medical reports.
    • Timely scanning of paper medical records and uploading of scanned images into the system.
    • Maintain punctuality in completing projects and tasks.
  • Secondary Responsibilities (20%):
    • Attend to ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Executive/Manager.
    • Develop and manage job/task assignments effectively.
    • Conduct thorough quality checks on medical reports prior to release.
    • Support in preparing statistics, such as monthly performance reports.

Requirements:

  • A minimum GCE A level or Diploma qualification.
  • Solid knowledge of PC software and applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools like Excel and Word.
  • Prior experience in healthcare or service industries is preferred.
  • Knowledge of hospital operations would be advantageous.
  • An ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A customer-focused attitude and strong service orientation.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and a positive working attitude are essential.
