Job Title: Legal Counsel

Description:

  • Handle ABAC compliance matters, export control and sanctions, government enforcement defense, cross-border commercial disputes, and internal/external investigations.
  • Provide advice on anti-corruption and anti-bribery risks, as well as other regulatory compliance matters.
  • Develop and implement compliant solutions for the business.
  • Draft and revise policies and procedures related to ABAC.
  • Create training materials and deliver live sessions on compliance topics.
  • Conduct transactional due diligence and oversee vendor due diligence for ABAC.
  • Collaborate with global compliance teams on complex litigation and investigations.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging compliance risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead in-house legal team on international law compliance matters.
  • Manage litigation, investigations, and regulatory compliance programs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and external partners.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with ABAC and other regulatory compliance matters.
  • Implement and enforce company-wide policies and procedures.
  • Ensure alignment of compliance programs with business objectives.
  • Strengthen governance and risk management practices.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior in-house legal role.
  • Strong knowledge of ABAC laws and regulations.
  • Excellent command of English and Mandarin Chinese.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience working across disciplines.
  • Highly proactive and able to work independently under tight deadlines.
