Procurement Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. This is a pivotal role that involves managing the procurement process from start to finish.

  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible deals, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
  • Source and procure materials, equipment, and services, using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to streamline processes and reduce costs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier performance reports.
  • Prepare and manage work orders for in-house production, ensuring seamless execution and on-time delivery.
  • Monitor inventory movement and plan material usage for production and trading purposes, minimizing waste and optimizing stock levels.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, logistics, and operations teams, to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Resolve any quality, delivery, or pricing issues with suppliers, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
