Position Overview:

We are in search of a skilled, passionate, and self-driven Lead Technical Artist to become a part of our Singapore-based team working on an exciting, new, and undisclosed project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide and oversee the design and development of C# systems for managing visual content.
  • Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on C# tools and scripts developed by Technical Artists.
  • Collaborate with engineers (C#) to align on interfaces between game logic and visual content management.
  • Assess and provide feedback on Visual Effects in context, considering their usage, complexity, and performance.
  • Review shaders in both graph form and CG.
  • Evaluate UI elements including art passes, visuals, and animations.
  • Support mentoring and guidance for junior Technical Artists and VFX staff.
  • Assist in defining project milestones and sprints.

Requirements:

  • Proficient knowledge of C# within Unity.
  • Familiarity with Shaders in Unity (ShaderGraph and CG/HLSL).
  • Experience with content tools in Unity (Timeline, VFXGraph, Shuriken, Animation, Mecanim).
  • Profiling experience using Unity tools and external tools.
  • Strong understanding of VFX composition and its technical components.
  • Able to forecast and communicate necessary system developments and balance resources effectively.
  • Practical knowledge of Unity's rendering pipelines and feature modifications.
  • Experience with UI implementation in Unity.
  • Enthusiastic, curious, and open to constructive feedback.
  • A collaborative team player.
