Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant-Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Infosys Singapore & Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in end-to-end projects for system implementation of MLS system, ensuring timely completion and high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Architects, Security, and Development Lead to design solutions that comply with enterprise design principles, security, and control standards.
  • Coordinate with Technical Delivery Manager to plan technical deliverables, schedule, and environment setup, and ensure solution design and development meet project requirements.
  • Evaluate and escalate issues that impact project schedule, proposing workarounds and resolutions as needed.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for solutions, ensuring timely, comprehensive, and accurate documentation as requested.
  • Implement project change requests and adhere to deployment schedules.
  • Partner with Test Management teams to ensure completion of SIT, UAT, performance/load testing, and application security testing with quality results.
  • Provide technical and testing support before and after production deployment.
  • Liaise with other units across IT and Business in the organization.
  • Utilize expertise in Red Hat Linux, Unix Shell Scripting, Java, JBoss/WebLogic/Tomcat, Cloudera Hadoop/Hive/HBase/HDFS, Yarn, MapReduce, Spark, Sqoop, System Interfaces, Bitbucket/Git, and other relevant technologies to drive project success.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution.
  • Apply expertise in SQL, MariaDB/Oracle, NoSQL, Jenkins/DevOps CI-CD, Control-M, and other relevant technologies to drive project success.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for solutions, ensuring timely, comprehensive, and accurate documentation as requested.

Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience/knowledge in Red Hat Linux, Unix Shell Scripting, Java, JBoss/WebLogic/Tomcat.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Cloudera Hadoop/Hive/HBase/HDFS, Yarn, MapReduce, Spark, Sqoop, System Interfaces, Bitbucket/Git.
  • At least 4 years of experience of coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • At least 3 years of experience in SQL, MariaDB/Oracle, NoSQL, Jenkins/DevOps CI-CD, Control-M.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and handle large amounts of data, including data ingestion and processing.
  • Ability to setup, manage Hadoop cluster configuration, parameters, resource allocation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to resolve authentication, authorization, encryption issues among Hadoop, 3-tier architecture, and LDAP.
  • Highly driven, pro-active, and a strong team player.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of networking, firewall, VPN, SSL, Kerberos, load balancing, and high availability.
  • Experience in MS Teams, MS SharePoint, MS Office, JIRA, Aldon, Confluence, and Remedy.
  • Experience in Python, Data Engineering, Data warehousing, and analytics.
