Director of Life and Health Operations

The role of Head of Life entails developing and managing long-term strategies for the life and health business in India. This involves building relationships with clients, driving profitable growth through life, P&C companies, and mono-line health businesses.
Main Responsibilities:- Design and implement life and health business strategies based on market understanding, competitor analysis, and overall industry conditions.
- Deliver products, pricing, underwriting, and claims support to local markets for protection and financial solutions.
- Monitor new business generation and manage existing portfolios to optimize local balance sheets and capital efficiency.
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in the insurance/reinsurance sector in India.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Fellowship of an actuarial society (India, US, UK, Australian, or equivalent) preferred.
This position requires strong project management skills, excellent analytical abilities, and a team-oriented mindset focused on achieving results. The ideal candidate should have expertise in pricing, treaty management, team leadership, and navigating complex technical issues.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a flexible and proactive attitude towards career and skill development, with a focus on delivering exceptional results in a dynamic environment.
