Medical Services Manager Job

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our healthcare services team and provide high-quality care to students and employees.

We are looking for a highly skilled Medical Services Manager who will be responsible for developing and implementing healthcare plans that align with our school's values and goals.

The successful candidate will have experience in healthcare management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement healthcare plans that meet the needs of students and employees.
  • Lead and manage the healthcare services team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Provide medical support and advice to teachers, staff, and students as needed.
  • Collaborate with other teams, such as admissions and safeguarding, to ensure seamless delivery of healthcare services.
  • Maintain accurate records of student vaccinations and illnesses, and track trends to inform health-related policies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including those related to data protection and confidentiality.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of healthcare services, making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working as a Registered Nurse, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
