Job Description

We are seeking a MES Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing MES systems to drive production efficiency and operational excellence in a semiconductor environment.

  • Design, develop, and implement MES solutions to optimize production processes, streamline workflows, and boost manufacturing productivity.
  • Continuously assess and enhance MES capabilities to meet evolving production requirements, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal operational disruptions.
  • Take charge of MES projects from initiation to conclusion, defining scope, managing timelines, and providing regular progress updates.
  • Proactively monitor MES performance, pre-emptively identify potential system issues, and implement preventive measures to minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Conduct regular maintenance of MES software and hardware, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure systems operate at peak performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in MES system development, integration, and optimization in a semiconductor environment.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Java, C#, or Python.
  • Experience with SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning in DB2 or Oracle.
  • A proven track record in developing, integrating, and optimizing MES systems.
  • Experience in Unix/Linux and shell scripting.
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
