Process Optimization Specialist

Job Description

This role involves working with various teams to streamline production processes and improve efficiency. The ideal candidate will be able to analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes that result in increased productivity and cost savings.

Responsibilities
  • Draft standard operating procedures (SOPs) and simplified practice guides to ensure consistency across the organization.
  • Map production process flows per SKU to optimize supply chain management.
  • Compile machine specifications into a guidebook to facilitate maintenance and repair.
Requirements
  • Record and analyze machine performance, including capacity, efficiency, and downtime.
  • Collect process data, such as temperature, pressure, and cycle times.
  • Monitor yield, scrap, and waste to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct time studies and line balancing to optimize production workflows.
Inventory and Material Management
  • Maintain accurate stock cards for raw materials and finished goods.
  • Monitor stock movement and support reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.
Knowledge and Training
  • Develop a comprehensive guidebook outlining production department SOPs, process flows, and manuals.
  • Prepare training and onboarding materials to support new employees.
Ad-Hoc Support
  • Assist with production reports and improvement projects as needed.
