As a key player in the academic publishing process, we are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to support our editorial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the publication process of academic research journals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Organizing peer review for submitted manuscripts and coordinating editorial decisions
  • Handling email communication between parties involved in the publication process
  • Collaborating with other members of the editorial team and production team

Requirements for this role include:

A PhD degree in one of the following fields: Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Materials Science, Agriculture, Medicine and Pharmacy, Ecology and Environmental Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, Linguistics, Education Science

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong English skills in written and spoken language

Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail

Organizational and time management skills

Strong communication and coordination skills

Prior research or lab experience in relevant academic fields is preferred

Familiarity with the peer review process in academic publishing is an advantage

Professional experience with scholarship publishing is beneficial but not required

Exposure to academic conferences and a strong professional network in the field are a plus
