Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Content Acquisition Specialist to join our publishing team.

This role will involve acquiring high-quality academic content in STEM topics, encompassing the full editorial process from manuscript submission to publication.

You will be responsible for pursuing and acquiring exceptional content from renowned authors and experts in STEM fields, maintaining harmonious relationships with stakeholders, and staying abreast of market trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pursue and acquire exceptional content from renowned authors and experts in STEM fields.
  • Maintain harmonious relationships with stakeholders, including authors, reviewers, contributors, and colleagues.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, provide strategic guidance on future opportunities, and represent the organization at conferences and events.

Requirements:

  • A PhD or degree in Pure and Applied Sciences is essential.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills are mandatory.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines is crucial.
  • Effective teamwork and self-motivation skills are required.
  • Prior experience in academic publishing is highly desirable.
