Senior Leadership Opportunity

This leadership position demands strong initiative to drive credit risk insurance business growth and expand placement volumes in Asia.

  • Create an effective operational framework for insurance business, encompassing HO and APAC regulations and internal guidelines.
  • Maintain timely execution, reporting, filing, and completion of compliance-related activities as per the insurance manual.
  • Secure, execute, place, monitor, and report on all insurance (credit insurance) related matters for Asia Pacific and East Asia.
  • Lead transaction distribution and provide transaction structuring insights to maximize insurance underwriter interest and successful transaction distribution into the credit insurance market.
  • Nurture relationships with credit risk insurance and surety teams of brokers and insurance underwriters in Asia.
  • Collaborate with front office/credit department, legal, and compliance department, and global insurance teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in Banking or Credit Insurance markets involving underwriting and/or placements of credit and political risk insurance coverage.
  • Strong credit analysis and credit structuring skills and experience.
  • In-depth understanding of Credit Specialties Markets and various insurance products.
  • Proficient in insurance documentation and policy wordings.
  • Established relationships with Credit Specialties Insurance market players such as brokers and global insurance counterparties.
  • Track record of sales focus and closure orientation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications Word, Excel, Power Point.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to details and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-driven and a positive attitude.
