Job Title: Marine Technology Expert

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Technology Expert to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing ship management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop ship management systems
  • Perform system integration with third-party systems
  • Coordinate and manage factory acceptance tests, set-to-work tests, and harbour acceptance tests
  • Configure software and create technical documentation
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Work closely with customers and subcontractors to resolve operational issues
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with system architecture design, system maintenance, or networking
  • Experience in site testing and commissioning
  • Knowledge of PLC programming and SCADA software
  • Knowledge of control and instrumentation, and control system design
  • Knowledge of computer administration, cybersecurity, and networking concepts
  • Knowledge of standard industrial protocols like Modbus RTU/TCP, RS422/485, NMEA, CANbus J
