Job Title: Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at EBARA ENGINEERING SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for our chiller systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and perform maintenance activities for chiller systems, ensuring all works are carried out according to prescribed checklists and schedules.
  • Responsible for testing and commissioning of new chillers, including coordinating project execution at site, witnessing FAT, and conducting SAT to ensure the chiller operates according to target performance.
  • Ability to interpret as-built documents, schematic drawings, and technical documents, as well as analyze operating data from chillers and identify and repair any issues that arise.
  • Responsible for on-site management of chiller overhaul and repair works, supervising subcontractor work, and ensuring service quality and progress.
  • Preparation of service reports for each service assignment.
  • Assuage dissatisfied customers on service issues, providing prompt and effective resolution to technical problems on chillers and recommending preventive measures.
  • Preparation of risk assessments prior to service and repairs, ensuring safety procedures are followed.
  • To ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with safety procedures.
Requirements:
  • Minimum ITE Certificate with Merit in Engineering or Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant chiller experience.
  • Preferably Singaporean or SPR.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as preparing service reports.
  • Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behavior.
  • Short-term working at overseas may be required.
