We are seeking a driven individual with strong expertise in machine learning to join our team as a Machine Learning Intern. This exciting opportunity will involve refining our text-to-price extraction algorithm, enhancing both accuracy and latency to support our traders with real-time market insights.

  • The successful candidate will collaborate with our development team to improve the existing logic using machine learning techniques.
  • They will utilize Large Language Models to interpret and extract price information from unstructured text messages.
  • Additionally, they will work with Azure AI Service to implement and fine-tune models, optimizing them for higher accuracy.
  • Furthermore, they will develop solutions to reduce processing time, ensuring that price information is extracted and delivered to traders as quickly as possible.
  • Finally, they will analyze limitations of the current rule-based system and propose innovative machine learning approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Algorithm Enhancement: Collaborate with our development team to improve the existing text-to-price extraction logic using machine learning techniques.
  2. LLM Integration: Utilize current prevalent Large Language Models to interpret and extract price information from unstructured text messages.
  3. Azure AI Services: Work with Azure AI Service to implement and fine-tune models, optimizing them for higher accuracy.
  4. Latency Optimization: Develop solutions to reduce processing time, ensuring that price information is extracted and delivered to traders as quickly as possible.
  5. Data Analysis: Analyze limitations of the current rule-based system and propose innovative machine learning approaches.

Requirements:

  • Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Machine Learning Expertise: Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
  • Experience with LLMs: Familiarity with Large Language Models and natural language processing techniques.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python; experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.
  • Azure Proficiency: Experience or coursework related to Azure AI Services or other cloud-based AI platforms.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to tackle complex problems.
  • Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
