Job Description
">As a Senior Trader in our Power Markets team, you will be responsible for developing and executing trading strategies across European intraday power markets.
You will work closely with our analytics team to design forecasting and pricing models to support intraday trading decisions.
In addition, you will optimize execution algorithms to maximize trading efficiency and profit.
Furthermore, you will analyze market data to enhance market visibility, trade idea generation, and post-trade analysis.
We are looking for a strong background in quantitative analysis, trading strategy development, or algorithmic execution.
A thorough understanding of the European power market fundamentals is also essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven ability to design and implement trading algorithms with expertise in Python, C++, and other performant languages.
- Familiarity with Stack, Delta models, load forecasting, or other power-specific models.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to blend structured quantitative approaches with real-time discretionary trading inputs.
