Occupational Therapist Role

This role involves working as a senior member of our occupational therapy team, providing client care and treatment in collaboration with various healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will have advanced expertise and knowledge in their specialty area.

The primary responsibilities of this role include conducting detailed assessments and interventions for clients, as well as training new or junior occupational therapists. Additionally, the successful candidate may be required to monitor the caseloads of team members and provide supervision as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting detailed assessments and interventions for clients
  • Training new or junior occupational therapists
  • Monitoring the caseloads of team members and providing supervision as needed
  • Collaborating with various healthcare teams to provide client care and treatment
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree and/or post graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from AHPC-recognized university
  • AHPC Full or Restricted Registration
  • At least 5 years of direct clinical practice
  • Experience working with persons with autism, intellectual and/or developmental disabilities is preferred
