Subterranean Infrastructure Specialist Job Opportunity

Job Overview:

Okumura Corporation seeks a seasoned Subterranean Infrastructure Specialist to lead the management of tunnel construction projects. This role involves ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop method statements for tunnel activities, including risk assessments and quality control procedures.
  • Conduct daily site inspections, supervise site works, and mobilize resources effectively.
  • Monitor site progress, evaluate environmental impact, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Liaise with authorities, consultants, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth project execution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in structural, civil, geotechnical, or construction-related engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in LTA/tunnelling/MRT projects, with strong technical knowledge in ERSS, bored piling, grouting, and relevant areas.
  • Ability to work under compressed air conditions for Cutterhead intervention works.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and ability to create drawings.
