Service Technician Role


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers.

  • Main Job Duties:
  • Set-up, install, commission and troubleshoot new equipment at customer sites.
  • Provide pre and post sales technical support to service and upgrade equipment.
  • Trouble-shoot process related problems and identify root cause(s) for effective and timely resolution of field issues.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing on design, quality and performance issues.
  • Assist in overall machine performance evaluation with technical reports and feedback.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Training: Provide technical training for customers on set-up, operations and maintenance.
  • Defend Customer base: Defend customer installed base with regular field service reports.
  • Support Service and Sales revenue growth: Strive to convert demo POs to confirmed POs at customer sites with strong technical and customer service support.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Higher NITEC / ITC / Diploma in Electronics/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Some experience in servicing in sorter, inspection and marking equipment.
  • Laser marking experience is an added advantage.
  • Computer literate.
  • Excellent customer orientation skills.
  • Able to travel overseas at short notice.
