Electronics Technician

Overview
Fugro is looking for an Electronics Technician to support ROV production and the support facility in Singapore. The role reports to the Electronics Lab Supervisor and involves assisting in electronic assembly, QC checks during assembly, and running tests to ensure product reliability according to our standards.
Responsibilities
Assist in electronic assembly works, perform QC checks during assembly, and run tests to ensure product reliability according to our standards.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
1–3 years of hands-on experience as an electronics technician.
Familiarity with electronic test and measurement tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.).
Experience in PCB assembly, wiring of enclosures, and configuring electronic systems.
Knowledge of communication protocols (RS232, RS485, Ethernet).
Experience with automated testing tools (Python, LabVIEW).
Technical & Operational Skills
Proficient in reading and interpreting PCB schematics, wiring diagrams, and test procedures.
Skilled in troubleshooting at component, board, and system levels.
Capable of conducting QC checks and generating non-conformance reports (NCRs).
Able to configure and test surface and subsea equipment.
Experience in producing test certificates and technical documentation.
Collaborative approach to working with engineering and innovation teams.
