AI Software Engineer Job Description

As a senior AI software engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying scalable AI models and systems. Your expertise in machine learning frameworks, cloud platforms, and data engineering tools will enable you to create and optimize AI solutions that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI models and systems using machine learning frameworks such as Fast API and Azure UI Search API (React)
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and processes
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to develop and deploy data pipelines and data warehouses
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code and documentation to ensure efficient and effective deployment of AI solutions

Requirements:

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in AI software engineering, including 3+ years of experience with machine learning frameworks and cloud platforms
  • Expertise in languages such as Python, Java, or C++
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Proficient in languages/Framework: Fast API, Azure UI Search API (React)
  • Cloud: Azure Cloud Basics (Azure DevOps)
  • Gitlab: Gitlab Pipeline
  • Ansible and REX: Rex Deployment
  • Data Science: Prompt Engineering + Modern Testing
  • Data pipeline development
  • Understanding of AI/ML algorithms and their applications
  • MLOps frameworks
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure ML especially)
  • Model deployment process
  • Data pipeline monitoring
  • Expert in Languages/Framework: Azure Open AI
  • Expert in Data Science: Open AI GPT Family of models 4o/4/3, Embeddings + Vector Search
  • Expert in Databases and ETL: Azure Storage
