Aircraft Electronics Specialist
DescriptionWe are seeking an Aircraft Electronics Specialist to join our team. As an Aircraft Electronics Specialist, you will be responsible for the repair, overhaul, and modification of aircraft electronics systems.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate test equipment to diagnose and repair aircraft electronic units.
- Conduct regular functional and calibration tests on automated test equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of test results and repairs performed.
- Troubleshoot customer units and restore them to serviceable condition.
- Verify all repairs meet quality and workmanship standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor to achieve team objectives.
- Minimum Diploma in Electronics required.
- Minimum one year experience in aircraft electronics repair preferred.
- Able to read digital and analog electronics circuitry.
- Able to perform manual soldering on electronics components.
- Good color perception essential.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to interpret schematic diagrams, troubleshoot, and repair PCB assemblies down to component level highly desired.
- Competent to conduct tests according to the Component Maintenance Manual.
- Able to interpret, evaluate test results, and write test reports.
