Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer (Network Management)We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This role will involve managing the delivery, operations, and tech refresh of technology solutions for LAN/WAN and related services, including Cisco/Aruba networking solutions, Network Access Control, F5 LoadBalancer, Wireless Network, Firewall, and routers.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in network management, proven planning, implementation, and migration experience of network-related services, and strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Additionally, they should be familiar with ITIL processes and procedures, able to justify new initiatives and recommend them to stakeholders, and possess good written and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Work with outsourced service providers and product principals to manage the delivery, operations, and tech refresh of technology solutions for LAN/WAN and related services.
- Rationalize technical design and ensure solutions work well with government infrastructure, policies, standards, and security requirements.
- Translate technical solution/design into technical specifications and functional requirements.
- Document and operationalize operations process and controls.
- Explore new solutions and technologies, integrate learning, and recommendations for operational efficiency and continual improvement of infrastructure for better user experience.
- Plan, design, and support technology refresh and migration activities for infrastructure services.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the area of design, deployment, operation, and management of enterprise and/or cloud infrastructure.
- Provide operation support for secure infrastructure.
- Ensure smooth service delivery and implementation within the business context.
