As a pivotal member of our team, you will be instrumental in enhancing and safeguarding our cloud infrastructure across the APAC region, with a particular emphasis on China. This role requires a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who will serve as the primary authority on all DevOps-related activities.

Core Responsibilities:

Management of Cloud Infrastructure:

  • Oversee and refine cloud infrastructure operations within the APAC region, focusing on China.
  • Facilitate the transition of on-premises servers to cloud environments.
  • Work closely with the APAC Cloud Infrastructure Manager to ensure security is integrated into all projects.
  • Automate processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs associated with cloud services.

Cybersecurity and Regulatory Compliance:

  • Establish and uphold guidelines and standard operating procedures for APAC infrastructure.
  • Collaborate on the formulation and implementation of the IT infrastructure strategy.
  • Address incidents related to cybersecurity, privacy, and data protection in conjunction with helpdesk and global operations teams.
  • Design and implement SecDevOps methodologies and automation solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards while introducing innovative solutions for infrastructure optimization.

Qualifications:

Technical and Management Expertise:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of practical DevOps experience in public cloud environments.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, Golang, JavaScript, C#, and Bash.
  • Solid understanding of server fundamentals, virtualization, storage, and networking protocols.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitOps).
  • Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform).
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
  • Exposure to public cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, and Alibaba Cloud.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential for effective communication with vendors in China.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications from public cloud providers and DevOps disciplines.
  • Experience in IT environments supporting mobile or remote workforces.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a global organizational setting.
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT architecture.
