We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of innovative solutions for data center, artificial intelligence, PCs, gaming, and embedded systems.

As a Product Development Engineer, you will be responsible for driving, analyzing, and leading the enablement of ROCm coverage in SLT test programs to meet business milestones, cost, and quality in system-level areas. You will work closely with exerciser developers, validation teams, and power and performance architects to establish a content selection process and coverage enablement roadmap for ROCm.

Key responsibilities include:

  • ">
  • Accountable for driving, analyzing, and leading the enablement of ROCm coverage in SLT test programs to meet business milestones, cost, and quality in system-level areas.">
  • Gathering input from exerciser developers, validation teams, and power and performance architects to establish a content selection process and coverage enablement roadmap for ROCm.">
  • Solving complex, novel, and non-recurring problems; initiating significant changes to existing processes/methods and leading development and implementation.">
  • Conducting engineering evaluations and analysis to drive closure of production issues.">
  • Influencing technical decisions that have a significant impact on final product.">
  • Developing and applying new debug techniques to enhance technical depth in Product and Test Engineering.">
  • Collaborating on or assuming consultative or leadership responsibilities for specific projects or product development initiatives.">
  • Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team growth.">
  • Upscaling overall team capabilities on low-level system debug for AMD data center product families.">

Preferred experience includes:

  • ">
  • Strong knowledge and working experience on X86 architecture, GPU architecture, SoC design, and power management features.">
  • Strong software background, experienced with AI/ML workload preferably ROCm/CUDA.">
  • Experience with data center infrastructure is a plus.">
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.">
  • Proficiency in Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems.">
  • Software programming and scripting proficiency (C, C++, Java, Perl, Ruby, Java, Python).">
