Career Opportunity
We are currently seeking an Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in driving our sustainability strategy forward.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research related to our group-wide sustainability strategy, focusing on social issues such as community engagement, human rights, employee welfare, environmental concerns like energy management, emissions, waste management, and green procurement.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for corporate sustainability and be well-versed in IT, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Canva. They should also possess excellent critical thinking, analytical, and interpersonal skills, as well as clear presentation abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on development of group-wide sustainability strategy
- Support the rollout of Sustainability initiatives at our Singapore office: desk research, feasibility studies, employee engagement, small event management, etc.
- Assist in migrating information to group-wide software
- Prepare and enter data for Singapore Office
- Coordinate internal sustainability-related communication and meetings with Business Units and external parties
Requirements
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Good knowledge and passion for corporate sustainability
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office, Canva
- Ability to conduct interdisciplinary research, work independently on assigned tasks, and deliver high-quality output
- Ability to work remotely at times when needed
- Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well within diverse teams in different cultural contexts
- Clear and organized presentation skills
- Strong ethical orientation and aligned values

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a minimum education of a third-year undergraduate degree or higher. The internship duration is strictly four months, and only full-time applicants who are eligible to work in Singapore can apply.
