Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Officer to join our Global Compliance Team in Singapore.

This role will involve advising on regulatory and compliance matters covering our APAC trading businesses, administering core compliance functions in the Singapore office, and providing advice and recommendations to senior management in terms of financial services regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of financial services regulation, excellent communication and writing skills, and a commercial and pragmatic approach.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8-12+ years financial services experience
  • Deep knowledge of financial services regulation
  • Proprietary trading, quant firm, bank, brokerage, or large asset management regulatory experience
  • Prior experience advising on electronic trading and associated compliance control framework
  • Experience with Singapore AML and global sanctions regimes
  • Strong understanding of key trading and reporting concepts

Others:

The Senior Compliance Officer will be expected to monitor the regulatory horizon for topics which could potentially impact the business, work closely with Business Development onboarding new venues and brokers in the APAC region, and participate in XTX's engagement with internal and external counsel, regulators or governments.

Strong communication between other key control teams within XTX is essential, including Legal, Risk, HR, and Operations.
