Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Architect to oversee architectural works on our project site in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with approved design, statutory requirements, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Compliance Supervision: Ensure that construction works are carried out in accordance with the approved architectural drawings, specifications, and relevant codes.
  • Quality Assurance & Inspection: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, materials, and progress.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with Resident Engineers (RE), contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve site issues relating to architectural works.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date records of all architectural inspections, reports, drawings, and correspondence.
  • Defects Management: Participate in inspections for practical completion and final completion.
  • Safety & Regulatory: Promote site safety related to architectural works in coordination with the Safety team.

Requirements:

  • Education & Professional Qualifications: Degree in Architecture from a recognized university and Registered Architect (or eligible for registration) under the Board of Architects Singapore.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of relevant site supervision experience on large-scale commercial / industrial / institutional / residential projects.
  • Skills & Attributes: Good knowledge of architectural detailing and construction methods, strong coordination and communication skills, able to work independently, and proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and/or BIM viewing tools.
