Seeking an accomplished Electrical Design Specialist to join our team in crafting innovative electrical designs. As a seasoned expert in the field, you will be responsible for creating and executing electrical design activities in E3D/PDMS and Microstation.

  • Craft single line diagrams, block diagrams, interconnection drawings, electrical installation drawings, and MTO generation.
  • Manage and review electrical documents and drawings as per discipline deliverable list.
  • Inspect and validate 3D model and/or 2D electrical design drawings.
  • Collaborate with lead engineers to establish discipline deliverable lists, procedures, interface definitions, and coordination.
  • Determine resources needed to perform work.
  • Lead teams of electrical designers and carry out assigned tasks with proper quality and scheduled time.
  • Identify external interfaces and supply timely information.
  • Evaluate work against specified QHSE requirements.
  • Maintain positive and safe working environments at workplaces.
  • Adhere to company codes of conduct and ensure ethical behavior.
  • Pursue continual upgrades to competence levels.
  • Encourage improvements to project costs and schedules.

For this role, we require:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in electrical design and engineering for offshore/onshore oil and gas projects including FPSO, process platforms, HVDC converter platforms.
  • Experience in preparing single line diagrams, electrical layout drawings, cable block diagrams, interconnection diagrams using MicroStation.
  • Generation of cable tray, lighting, and small power, cable & cable gland MTOs.
  • Experience in lighting and small power design, MCT, and heat tracing design, including generation of isometrics.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Degree/Diploma holder in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Proficiency in using PDMS/E3D for modeling cable ladders, field trays, lighting, and small power equipment.
  • Ability to support site teams resolving queries/issues.
  • Capacity to guide and mentor other designers.
  • Skill in revising new and existing project documentation and drawings.
  • Understanding of quality control assurance and improvement processes.
  • Aptitude to work under pressure meeting project schedules and budgets.
  • Familiarity with oil & gas industry standards such as API, IEC.
