Job Title: Philanthropy Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Philanthropy Professional to join our team. As a key member of our fundraising efforts, you will be responsible for securing financial support from individuals, foundations, and corporate partners. Your strong research skills, relationship management abilities, and creative approach to designing and executing fundraising campaigns will play a critical role in advancing our conservation mission.

  • Donor Research and Pipeline Development:
  • Identify, research, and qualify potential donors, including individuals, foundations, and corporate partners.
  • Build and maintain a dynamic donor pipeline to support fundraising targets and organisational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have proven experience in designing and executing fundraising campaigns, with a strong track record of success in identifying and securing new donors. You will be able to build and maintain relationships with donors, as well as coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure effective campaign delivery. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating campaign performance, making recommendations for future improvements.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in fundraising, development, or donor relations in a nonprofit organisation.
  • Skills:
    • Strong project management skills, including planning, coordinating, and delivering complex initiatives on time and within budget.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals and reports.
    • Experience in organising and managing donor events.
    • Proficiency in donor CRM system with strong analytical skills.
